Outside reading 3

In Jerry Bridges' book, The Joy of Fearing the Lord, he writes about how God demonstrates his wisdom through the human heart. The heart pumps 2,000 gallons a day with no maintenance and lasts on average 75 years. Bridges claims that the human heart should lead us into reverence of him. After reading this I am reminded of the pictures of Mt. Rainier. The vast volcano that is now covered in layers of ice and the tiniest, yet most colorful wild flowers. Everything that covers the mountain has so much detail. This impressive mountain has led people to worship the creation. Causing their thoughts to stop right there and not think about the designer and creator. When I think about the heart or vast mountain ranges, it leads my mind to wonder how it was designed.
