Being at college and not living at home wasn't very hard for me being that I'm only an hour away and have a wonderful little group of friends here. The hardest thing about being here is being a 7 hour drive away from my twin sister. Going from being with each other 24/7 to only seeing each other 3 months at a time has been a huge adjustment for me. I've only just realized how much it has affected me though. Over Thanksgiving break I drove to Virginia Tech with my mom and dad to pick her up for break except she didn't know I was coming so I was able to surprise her. When we saw each other we talked nonstop for hours recapping our past few months at college and I realized how much I missed having my best friend with me.
