Chosen Topic- Leadership

One of the classes that I was required to take for the President’s Leadership Program is called Self, Group, and Leadership. The class’ purpose is to help us define what leadership is, how we lead, and how others lead. Throughout the past few weeks we have been working on a leadership identity paper. The paper defines our life history, development, values, personality, and leadership/followership/philosophy. My favorite section to write about was my personality. I liked it, because I could compare my results from the Myer Briggs test taken this year to the results of the same test taken a few years ago. My current personality was defined as INFP- introverted, intuitive, feeling, and perceiving. Through major events and friends, I developed into a person who focuses their values and on people who are important to me. Discovering my identity made me reflect on the purpose of my actions which will help me in future obstacle and opportunities.
