Landscapes #1

I find the definition of a sacred place interesting in the terms that it’s a “homogeneity of space” and a “storied place”. According to the axioms, a sacred place could technically be any place. I think it’s interesting that it can’t be chosen and that everyone’s sacred place is different. It is an ordinary place, ritually made extraordinary. With this in mind, the number of sacred places really are limitless and they can vary tremendously. My sacred place is the gym and I realize how odd this sounds. However, this is where I feel most comfortable, motivated, and able to grow and succeed. My passion for fitness is very great as I go to the gym between 5-6 times a week. I am able to challenge myself and surprise myself by what I am able to accomplish.
