Landscapes of the Sacred #2

“Everything wants to be loved... You ever notice that trees do every thing to git attention we do, except walk?”

-Everyone’s sacred place or just a place that they like to go to to reflect is different. You could walk by someone’s place everyday and not even realize it because to you it’s so mundane that you don’t think anything of it. When to that person the place you think is so common and that couldn’t be anything special is their favorite place in the world.  “How, then, can we so readily overlook the presence of the sacred? It is because, on the other hand, the ordinary also conceals—by the very fact of its ordinariness.”
