“Marriage can never be renewed except by that which is always the source of all true marriage: that two human being reveal the You to one another. It is of this that the You that is I for neither of them builds a marriage.” (95).

     I think that this means that when you're married for a long period of time you can only bring back to life in your marriage what was there from the start. You have to begin your marriage with the same chemistry and love that started it in beginning. You can only have a stable, loving, successful marriage if both partners are willing to be open and vulnerable with one another.
