Natural Setting #1
Earlier in the semester when we met at Lion's Gate and walked around the trail I was so happy to finally get out of a classroom and away from campus between two classes even it was just for a little while. After walking the trail with the class I was left to sit on stump with the perfect view through some trees and ponder what to write. I didn't know exactly what to write so I just jotted down everything I saw, heard and felt. I heard kids yelling, people running and squirrels climbing up trees and scurrying across all the leaves that had fallen. I saw calm water and fellow classmates just sitting and looking around at everything around them. I felt cold air and I felt peaceful. As I was sitting and pondering I was thinking about how lucky I am to be in such a good place physically and mentally.
