Natural Setting 1

It’s mid November on the Noland trail. The wind blows the trees and even picks up some leaves off the ground with some heavy gusts. Squirrels are omnipresent in the area and scurry around more free than ever. A look to the right shows forest gradually turning into the James River. A look to the left shows all stages of forestation. Trees with large trunks, trees with small trunks, trees with medium trunks, fallen trees, vegetation of all sorts, and even newly growing trees. This overwhelming idea of creation is prevalent and obvious amongst the beautiful nature in the area. The trail itself is void of any vegetation, due to the destruction of constantly being ran, walked, and biked on. An interesting thought is that while humans created the trail, they essentially destroyed a portion of this natural habitat.
