Outside Reading #3

“I praise you for remembering in everything and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you” (1 Corinthians 11:2).  I chose to write about this verse because it reminded me of family and friends. I think that everyone has close friends that they tell just about everything to and those are the ones that they can count on when in need of a helping hand. I value my friends that I can tell anything to and know they’ll be able to give good advice or say something helpful. The part about traditions I was able to relate to family because we also trust our family to hold onto traditions and to love us for who we are. Every family has their own traditions and I think it’s cool that every family has a different way of celebrating holidays or special occasions. It’s important to hold onto these traditions and to add onto them as well.
