Outside Reading: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe
Ever since I was a little boy, I have always had a fascination with the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Being a small British boy experiencing a different and strange America for the first time was terrifying, but constantly check my closets for Aslan. If you have never read the book, Aslan was the great protector of the land inside the closets, Narnia, who was a wild lion. He also has been contributed to be a symbolization of God. As I reread the story, I continued to more and more see the connection. Even the author himself said that Aslan was a relation of God, so I guess I was right. Oh how I wish I could go to Narnia!
