Phenomenology of Prayer #1

I never thought of prayer as a discipline before this book. I only viewed it a form of communicating which is still true. However, if you pray the correct way, you will get more out of it. “Experience at a limit” or going out or beyond is the way to pray. Our experience deepens our understanding of meaning. I perceived this as the more we pray, the more we will get out of it. The saying “practice makes perfect” seems very applicable to prayer because with more practice, the more likely your prayers are going to be answered or you will feel more at peace with yourself.
